Health Canada – Proposed changes to Labelling Guidelines

After hearing from Canadians what they like and don’t like about Canada’s nutrition labels, Health Canada would love to hear what you think about proposed changes to nutrition labels.

This is your opportunity to share your thoughts at one of the discussion groups being held across the country:

All sessions, except Longueuil, will be held in English, however, materials will be available in both official languages and bilingual staff will be available at all sessions.

Please download and complete the Registration Form and email it to nut.labelling-etiquetage@hc-sc.gc.ca or fax it to 613-941-6636 by the deadline date indicating which session you will attend. Pre-Registration for the event is required.
Space is limited and will be available on a first come basis. Registrations will be confirmed and further details will be provided with the confirmation.

Please Note

Although information of interest will be shared with participants during the session, please note that no compensation, financial or other, will be offered in exchange for your participation, time, or parking. Bus tickets will be provided for those in Calgary coming by public transport.

THANK YOU Casino Volunteers and Food Sponsors!

Thank you to Mr. George Waite, Casino Chairman, Mr. Ralph Barnett, Food Coordinator, and the 35 member volunteers who worked the Calgary Celiac Association casino on January 17 and 18.

Also a big THANKS to Simple Simon Pies for their donation of yummy, gluten-free meals over the two days, South Street Burger Co. for the donation of fresh, tasty, gluten-free burgers on Saturday evening, and to UNA Pizza and Wine for opening up their kitchen early to prepare pizza and salad for Friday’s lunch.  The people and food were all amazing!!
