Disclaimer – This is a list of restaurants and food establishments in Calgary and the surrounding areas that have requested to be included because of their ability to provide gluten free options. They are however not endorsed or chosen by the Calgary Chapter of the Canadian Celiac Association.
We remind you when dining out to be very specific with the server or manager of your food and ingredient restrictions and of the possibility of cross contamination. Also, be aware of staff turnover and have these conversations on every dining out experience. Remember that our diet can be complicated for restaurants and be patient as it can take extra time to prepare meals that are safe for those on a gluten free diet.
If yo have a suggestion of a restaurant that you would like to see added to the list, please ask the General Manager or Executive Chef to contact us to be included on this list. If you have concerns about a restaurant on this list, please contact them directly to discuss the meal in question.

~Our fries are gluten free – fresh cut from whole potatoes each day and cooked in sunflower oil. No other menu items go into our fryers. Our pulled pork, butter chicken and braised beef toppings are gluten free, as are our cheese curds and ketchup. Our gravy, chili, and cheese sauce do not contain gluten, but are made in a plant where gluten is present. Gluten is present in the store (hot dog buns, shake on seasonings, etc…) and the possibility of cross contamination does exist.

~ Our 100% pure beef burgers and chicken breasts do not contain gluten. However, our veggie burger and hot dogs both contain gluten and are cooked on the same grill as the gluten free items. Gluten free burger buns are available and are toasted in a separate toaster. We have an array of toppings and sides, including our fresh salad and NYF French fries, which are gluten free as well. However, onion rings (which are cooked in a separate fryer), regular buns and other gluten sources are present in the store and the risk of cross contamination may occur. .
